Many of the organizations interested in recycling in public places have pooled resources to purchase ClearStreams. In many instances, cities, counties, solid waste districts, not for profit organizations like KAB, and the private sector have come together to achieve effective recycling.

Typically, the partners divide up the responsibilities for storage, transportation, staffing, marketing the material and promoting the units as well as sharing the funding.

Eugene, Oregon, their system requires that a form
be completed that requires a deposit on the units
